African Artists’ Foundation
The African Artists' Foundation, based in Lagos, has as its dual mission; the promotion of African arts and artists and the promotion of social issues and awareness. The Foundation is unique in Nigeria in that it succeeds in combining several creative aspects of African creativity under one umbrella.

The AAF continues to host a yearly nation wide art exhibition in partnership with Nigerian Breweries Plc that has become a mainstay in the art calendar of Nigeria.

AAF programs benefit artists and the general public through improved livelihoods and education. The focus is on creativity and self-expression, providing a form of empowerment by encouraging self-actualization and fulfillment. We believe in looking inwards for growth and advancement. The aim is for our programs to benefit Nigeria, Africa and humanity as a whole.

The African Artists' Foundation is based in Lagos, Africa's most populated city. The AAF is the Resident Artistic Organization in the new Lagos Civic Centre, where it stages regular exhibitions of Nigeria’s finest artists.

Out of mutual admiration of our diverse strengths, the African Artists Foundation and No. 1 Heritage Solutions has come together to create an African music festival that is line with our sense of pride and ownership for the true African music as we know it. The artistes whom we will celebrate are true legends of our times and have shown originality and innovation in their musical self expression.
